  • Palate: Spicy and elegant with pronounced red berry fruit flavours and balanced oak in the background adding complexity.
  • Food pairing: Serve with a rare-roasted rack of lamb with garlic and rosemary, or pan-fried pork fillet served with roast potatoes and a high quality Dijon mustard. Or try it with a Milawa chicken rubbed with olive oil and lemon and roasted in the barbeque.

Description

A single vineyard Shiraz from our award-winning Heathcote site. This is the second release of the Ten Acres Shiraz. The artist illustration depicts John Francis Brown and his son John Charles Brown in front of the original Ten Acre plantation of vines at Milawa back in 1885.

Peak Drinking: Until 2020

Growing Conditions: The grapes for this wine were grown at our renowned Heathcote vineyard in Central Victoria. The fruit was harvested in early to mid March at a range of baume levels from 13.6 to 14.4.
